Student CCPS Portal Access.pdf

Steps for claiming an account: (this process cannot be done on a Chromebook, but can be done on a smart device)
a. Have the student go to my.clayton.k12.ga.us.
b. Have the student click “Claim my Account”.
c. Have the student enter lastname, firstname, and their ID#.

Note: Passwords cannot be reused and they must be at least 8 characters long.
f. Have the student re-enter the new password.
g. Have the student click “Next”.
h. Have the student answer only THREE challenge questions.
Reminder, students will need to remember these answers in order to reset their password in the future.
i. Have the student click “Next”.
This completes the claim process.

Announcements

FPMS Panthers,

Starting Wednesday, August 25th, All instructional faculty, support staff, and students will be working virtually until Sept. 7th.
Students will attend live lessons via Zoom.
Teachers will post assignments and links to their lessons on their virtual teaching platforms (Canvas or Google Classroom). Instructions have been emailed to parents and students. If you have not received emails from the school, please verify and/or update your contact information in Infinite Campus. Students must follow our current schedule and be present during all live lessons. Live lessons will take place at the same time that their face-to-face classes took place. Click here to see our 2021-2022 school bell schedule.
Students are expected to be on time, dressed for class (uniforms are not required, but students should be out of pajamas, bonnets, etc.), out of bed, and actively engaged with their cameras on.
If you have questions or need assistance, please email the appropriate grade level administrator listed below.

This year, we are going to continue to challenge all of our Panther stakeholders in order to accelerate learning and help each other meet our goals.
Parents and guardians, you will be called on to participate and support our school learning efforts. In order to communicate with you effectively, here is is what we are asking of your first:
1. Ensure that you have access to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you do not know how to do so, directions can be found on this website.
2. Use the Parent Portal to update and maintain your contact information (home/cell/work numbers and email addresses). Here are the instructions for how to update your personal information: Parent Portal Update of Information.pdf
3. Create a Remind account so that you can receive text messages from FPMS about upcoming events, deadlines, and other important updates. You can also communicate directly with school leadership through this free app. Directions for how to join are also on this page.
4. Get involved in our school! We are looking for parent leaders and parent volunteers. Please complete this form to let us know of your interest: Parent Involvement Interest Form

Key Information about the new school year:

ALL Forest Park Middle School students must be dressed in the school uniform each day (unless it is an approved change of dress day). The school uniform dress code can be found under our Students tab on this site.
In addition to uniforms,
ALL Panthers will be required to wear a mask while at school and have their temperature checked each day before entering the building.
ALL students have been (or will be) issued a Chromebook device that they will bring to school daily for instruction purposes. If students have devices checked-out from other schools or owe for damaged or missing devices or accessories, they will not be issued a second device. Parents must resolve these issues first.
School starts each day at 8:45 AM.
Each day of teaching and learning is vital to helping our Panthers achieve their goals. Attendance counts every day!
Bus
Here are this year's bus stop lists with driver names: Forest Park MS 2021.pdf If you do not know your assigned route number, please click here and enter your address and grade.

Do you need a district Chromebook? First, you will need to complete a ELBC user agreement form and bring it to the school at your scheduled time. This is a requirement for all students. ELBC User Agreement Form.pdf
If students have issues with their school-issued devices, please email our media specialist, Mrs. Bridgette Williams at bridgette.williams@clayton.k12.ga.us. She will enter a technology work order for the student.
If you need a hot spot to access the internet from home, please send Principal Drewry an email.
