Greetings Parents and Guardians,

Clayton County Public Schools is excited to announce the launch of the Summer Learning Academy (SLA) Program. This program will begin on Monday, June 3, 2024, and end on Thursday, June 27, 2024 (sessions will not be held on Fridays).

The SLA will offer reading, writing, math, and STEM education for students in grades K-8. It will target academic gaps, teach foundational skills in math and literacy, and emphasize critical thinking through real-world problem-solving in STEM. Please note: The Summer Learning Academy Program will not have individual STEM camps. However, STEM will be integrated into all learning sessions.

The SLA program is available to currently enrolled CCPS students in grades PreK - 8th.  Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided.  Registration opens on March 15, 2024, and remains open through April 10, 2024. Parents can apply for the SLA programs using  If you do not have an account, you will need to create one.  Make sure you have your child’s CCPS student ID number.

Slots are limited,  so we encourage you to register promptly. Parents and guardians will receive information via email regarding their child's assigned summer learning program, along with pertinent details such as bus routes, instructional timings, and more.  This information will be communicated prior to the end of the school year.
